YouTube and Co. – our weekly Telepolis video review
Who on earth is the screaming goat and who is the talk show host?? With this not quite beer-serious question we start today into the weekend, which promises probably for the last time in this year summer temperatures. And therefore two videos about bathing, splashing, swimming. The first one shows the attempt to move across the water surface in an inflated balloon. Apparently not quite easy. And in the second film, people hopefully fly happily through the air, only to land in the water. However, if you prefer to meet a beautiful woman on the beach, you should try this method.
Before we get to our readers’ letters, here’s a quick video showing John Cleese in private. This week Andreas Bergmann has sent us two films at once. One of them is aptly titled Water Balloon to the Face. And the other is from the ambitious series "98%". Our man at the piano, on the other hand, is a beast this time: Oskar.
And now it’s time to campaign: Against data retention. And for Die PARTEI, anyway a frequent guest in our political column.
If you think all this is too boring, take a look at this ultra brutal gang fight. Oh, we still have a commercial with very nice hamsters. Cats must be again this time; one in a box and Bert the Cat.
Now follows our quick run-through. He starts with a lazy dog. Continuing with contributions from blogs: A Letter to the Aliens, No Milk Today and Don’t Give Aids a Chance. The following are funny TV mishaps, funny running mishaps, the best 5-second-films, chatbots in conversation. And the final point is 100 years of London fashion.
